Soundtrack Revised 28/10/10

I have chosen the following soundtrack for Rouch Cut 2 because it disettles the audience yet to begin with is slow pace with long drawn out notes to get the audience off guard therefore shock them more. The use of windinstruments reflects the birdsong in the forrest just as in Titanic the music reflects the engine sounds of the ship. The music speeds up to increase the pace of the chase though in the first draft of it it was too pacy over the coffin scene which is meant to be slow. So for the second draft of it I slowed it down here to create a further climax for the titles. The guitar appeals to a modern audience and reflects the boystrous contetypical representation of a female vampire lead. This music came frome smaples in Adobe Sound Booth their website [LINK] states

I chose not to include the music in rough cut 3 and the final cut because it is a grey area. I made the next soundtrack using cubase and a proffesional musician to create the most fitting music. The difficulty came in editng the music as one yet to still fit the footage. The music invlovels obeos, violins and tamberins choosing wind instruments to reflect the sounds of the forrest. I added an organ at home as an intertextual link to gothic horror. I used the faders in
Imovie to make the music less disjointed and make it climax at points throughout the production.
